Why people stay.
I've had the privilege of practicing Pilates and Yoga under Susanne's guidance for a little over two years, and the experience has been truly transformative. What sets Susanne apart is not just her expertise, but her genuine care for her students.

I always feel better physically after being consistent with Susie's classes! They are the perfect mix of strength and getting your heart rate up, while still being relaxing enough to enjoy the experience mentally.

From your first class together, you can tell Susie is a natural teacher. She's articulate in communicating the movements and clear about what muscles need to be engaged. I have taken other Pilates classes, and what I never fully grasped about muscle engagement, Susie's teaching of Pilates fundamentals has helped fill in the blanks.

Susanne has been my Pilates instructor for about three years. I owe my firm abs and glutes at age 79 to her positive teaching style. Her classes are engaging, encouraging and respectful of all skill levels. She is always mindful of students needs for challenge and or modifications to the classes she designs.

Questions
The things people ask.
Four short answers. For anything else, email hello@stretchwithsusie.com.
What style of Pilates do you teach?+
A blend of classical Pilates principles with a contemporary, anatomy-informed approach. Most classes are mat-based — no reformer or specialized studio equipment required. The focus is on intentional movement, body awareness, and progressions that meet you where you are.
What equipment do I need?+
A mat is enough for most classes. Some sessions use a light resistance band, a yoga block, or a chair — each library entry lists what's needed. No reformer required.
I'm newer to Pilates — can I take Intermediate or Advanced classes?+
Yes. Intermediate and Advanced classes include modifications for most exercises, giving accessibility to all fitness levels. Susie shows easier options as she teaches, so take whichever version feels right for your body that day.
What's the Founding Membership?+
$35/mo (or $336/yr) for Susie's complete on-demand class library, with live classes included at no extra cost whenever they're running. Your rate is locked for life — new members will pay more once live classes are back. Cancel anytime.
